A few days ago we shared our North East coaster collection and today though we'd share the original artwork for the 'Dorothy' coaster.
All of our coasters (and other products) are designed by us and aren't available elsewhere. Dorothy was designed and free motion embroidered (drawn with a sewing machine) by and has now been turned into one of our coasters. The artwork isn't for sale so a coaster is one of the next best things!

So lucky to have this close by on the North East coast. These images are of Staithes, which isn't too far from where we are. A quirky village full of history and interesting stories.

The summer holidays will soon be upon us and finding new and interesting things for children and grandchildren can be difficult. Things that don't involve screen time, that are fun, that don't cost the earth and that are a little different are hard to find.

We've got you covered with our clock kits! Each kit comes with the clock face, hands, numbers and mechanism. You can decorate them however you would like - paint, decoupage, collage, felt tips or simply varnish them.

Once the decorating is over it's time to glue the numbers on to the clock face using PVA or wood glue, add the mechanism and hands and then be proud of your creation! Also fabulous to teach children the time.

Also suitable for adults!

One of the first things we designed and made were the very popular stitch instruction coasters. They're exclusive to us and all made in our space, from the laser etching and cutting through to the finishing by hand and varnishing.

The feedback for these was so positive that we then created the haberdashery collection of coasters and finally the North East collection of coasters. There are one or two new ones coming - keep your eyes peeled for those!

Here at Laser Crafted Artisans we're really taken with our little dinosaur and it seems you are too!
We just couldn't resist sharing this photos of Dino on a cotton reel!
These are both part of our new magnet range although both designs are also available as other products. They make fab little gifts for those people who you really just don't know what to buy for. And are also handy for putting your shopping list on the fridge!

Stitch your own clock kit - this is the prototype we shared a little about in a previous reel. We launched this clock kit at Threads and it was super popular.
All stitch holes are pre-drilled for you, using the included threads backstitch each number, add the mechanism and hands and you have your own beautiful stitched clock.

The thread included is variegated blue thread, ensuring that each clock is slightly different. We can supply other colour thread if required. To order your stitched clock kit drop us a message as we haven't had 5 minutes to get these on the website yet!

Perhaps we're a little biased but we think the dino's face is so cute! Such a smiley dinosaur.

Dino took a long time to perfect and get the shape just right and since then we haven't been able to resist making all sorts of dino related laser cut products including clocks, coasters and magnets - which are our favourite!

Look at our needle minders in these gift boxes!

These gift boxes are given to those who go to workshops that Louise Goult Textiles organises herself. As these are so few each year she likes to make them extra special and encourage the creativity to continue after the workshop has finishes. Each gift box is carefully curated and contains materials and equipment that is used by Louise and during the workshop.

Needle minders are perfect to keep all of your needles and pins in easy reach and stop unhappy accidents with feet and needles!
