Who loves to read an eco book?

We had a small and select first face to face meeting of our lovely eco book group this evening. We shared our favourite eco books and decided that this format works well for us.
Next meeting Wednesday 7th October 6:30-8:00 pm with thanks to The Ship Inn - Guisborough

Being called "The Book Lady" is such a compliment. Stardom waxes and wanes, beauty is subjective, but books can last forever.

PSA: I don't need you to comment that I left off "... and worked my butt off." I'm well aware. You'll be okay, I promise. Just breathe. The full context and sentiment are still there. After you make a couple of thousand graphics, one at a time for years, you can reach out to me and lecture on spacing and placement. We'll discuss how and why I chose to use the first part of the quote and not the last 5 words. Until then, just enjoy the fact Dolly left behind a legacy that even her daddy was proud of. (Yes, I ended a sentence with the word "of". Keep breathing.)

The clickbait title would be ‘Can you smell the pot?’ 😂

The neolithic method pot I made at Loftus Studios smells great after being fired in a neolithic style kiln up on the fields. Follow them for opportunities to create. I have loved all the creative sessions there I have been to.

The archaelogical digs around here keep unearthing discoveries - google those if interested to know more of Saxon Princess burial bed or earliest salt production site ever found in the UK at 6000 years old. Great to be part of the latest project led by Dr Steve Sherlock in collaboration with Loftus Studios. Exhibition has closed so collected my pot.

With thanks to Claude Frere-Smith of Saltburn Pottery for the pottery class. We made and coiled long clay sausages to create the pots.
