Finally home from the hospital and very glad to be back home again.

It’s been a long week, so I’ll be taking things easy for a wee while as I recover. I’ll be off work for the rest of this week at a minimum.

The staff at CCUS Scotland have done a fantastic job keeping everything ticking over while I’ve been away, and I’m extremely grateful to them for stepping up and keeping the shop running.

For anyone currently waiting on a console, laptop, computer or other repair that specifically requires my attention, I’ll get to these as soon as I’m able. Thank you for your patience and understanding while I recover.

I’d also like to thank everyone who has sent messages and well wishes over the past week. They’ve been very much appreciated.

A special thank you to all my family and friends who have helped look after me, supported the shop and been there for Linda and Carson.

And an even bigger thank you to Linda ❤️ On top of being pregnant and working full time, she has still managed to run about after me, support the family and help keep everything together throughout the week.

I’m very fortunate to have such a good team, family and group of friends around me.

Thank you again for everyone’s support. I’m looking forward to getting properly rested and back on my feet.

I’ll be staying in hospital a bit longer while further investigations are carried out. I was hoping this would happen today but unfortunately it’s been delayed.

The shop will be open however please note there is currently a delay on computer, laptop and console repairs. Mobile phone repairs will continue as normal.

Sorry to anyone who’s messaged me on here or my personal page.

Unfortunately I was unwell on Tuesday which resulted me having to attend hospital (my second home 😂).

It was looking like I was able to come home today but after a few tests I will be in until at least Monday where it will be evaluated again.

Just a reminder that my flight was cancelled yesterday so anyone who I’ve arranged to meet today, please can I ask you come see me Friday or Monday. I’m trying to get a flight back to Edinburgh as the first flight back to Glasgow isn’t until Friday.

As a busy repair centre, there will naturally be times when we’re working on repairs, helping customers in-store or simply unavailable to answer a call or message straight away.

The CCUS Customer Portal is a major step forward in helping us improve that communication.

Instead of having to contact us for every update, you’ll be able to securely log in and check information about your repair yourself — even when we’re unavailable or the repair centre is closed.

It means better communication, greater transparency and easier access to the information you need, when you need it.

🌐 The CCUS Customer Portal will initially launch as a secure web app, so you’ll be able to access your account conveniently from your phone, tablet or computer.

And this is only the beginning… 👀

We have much bigger plans for how the CCUS Customer Portal will connect with our systems and services in the future.

🧩 Right now, we’re working on the final few pieces of the puzzle before we can officially launch.

A huge amount of work has already gone into building the portal and connecting everything behind the scenes. We’re carrying out the final testing and making sure everything works together properly before we open it up to our customers.

We’re getting very close, and we can’t wait for you to start using it! 💙
