Happy 1st Birthday, Campfield 🎂🌿

One year ago, the team at Oasis Plants had the absolute pleasure of bringing the biophilic vision for Campfield to life. To celebrate their first anniversary, we’re looking back at the thoughtful design details that make this coworking and private office space so spectacular.

When designing the planting scheme, we wanted the greenery to seamlessly integrate with the building's architecture. We curated corrugated metal planters to mimic the soft ripple of the curtains and echo the building's industrial past. To contrast this, we introduced the natural texture and matte finish of terracotta planters, perfectly complementing Campfield’s raw plywood focus pods and sleek, polished concrete floors.

We balanced this warm, neutral moodboard with a rich variety of greens. Over the last 12 months, it’s been incredible to watch these plants thrive - from the delicate Asplenium Dimorphum and variegated Aglaonemas to the massive, statement leaves of the Monstera Deliciosa and Ficus Lyrata.

We are thrilled to welcome this fully electric van to our Southern fleet! It’s officially on the road, helping our incredible maintenance and installation teams deliver top-tier service across the South.

This isn't just about a new set of wheels; it's part of our broader commitment to sustainable operations. Our Southern logistics hub in Enfield, London is already equipped with solar panels and dedicated EV charging points, meaning this van will be powered by the sun right from our own warehouse roof!

Conversations from Clerkenwell 🌿

We recently teamed up with PlusFloor to chair an incredible panel discussion at their showroom during Clerkenwell Design Week. The ideas shared were too impactful to leave behind, so we’ve captured the entire conversation in our latest post.

The verdict? "Average" office design is officially dead.

We’re exploring how neuroinclusive and biophilic design are merging to create the new standard for modern workplaces. If we want people to truly thrive, we have to design for the full spectrum of human experience.

We just received the stunning photography back of Fairfax, a premier Build-to-Rent (BTR) residential community in the heart of Manchester's vibrant Piccadilly East district.

Located just a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, The Fairfax represents a major addition to the city's thriving residential landscape, combining high-quality urban living with unbeatable connectivity.

This , we’re celebrating a major milestone in local circularity: 3 years of partnership with St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice. 🔄

At Oasis Plants, sustainable life-cycles are at the heart of our biophilic design philosophy. True sustainability means looking at the entire lifecycle of our projects—ensuring that what starts as a seasonal joy ends up enriching our planet.

How the Circular Forestry Project works:

🎄 The Setup: Each winter, we supply live corporate Christmas trees to businesses nationwide.

🚚 The Return: In January, we collect and return them to our Sandbach hub.

🚜 The Transformation: St Luke’s Hospice repurposes these trees into nutrient-rich woodchippings.

🌿 The Community Asset: Local volunteers distribute the mulch to enhance community gardens, woodland walkways, and guide camps across Cheshire.

The Environmental & Social Impact:

🌱 Investing in Soil Health: This process has responsibly repurposed over 210 live trees to date. The resulting mulch naturally enriches regional soil with nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium while aiding moisture retention and erosion control.

🏥 Supporting Care: We pair this eco-initiative with a financial donation to support the hospice’s essential healthcare work.

It is a proud example of how a seasonal waste challenge can be successfully redesigned into a long-term community asset.

What if improving your office also helped reforest the planet?

Every time a client invests in one of our live plant displays to improve their workplace, we plant a tree in a global reforestation project via Tree-Nation. For the month of May, thanks to our clients, we’ve planted 932 trees with Treenation, bringing our overall total to 67,563 trees!

When Oasis Plants Ltd quote for your project we are able to provide a figure for the number of trees that would be planted on your behalf. This is based on the quantity of live planting displays required in your project.

From the moment you commit to a planting project with Oasis Plants, you will be made aware of the impact your planting scheme will make and how much C02 will be offset as a result.

"We don't have room for plants."

That’s a common concern when installing planting into a working environment, where are all the plants going to go?

Floor space is at a premium, and you can’t justify sacrificing functional areas just for the sake of greenery.

But, you know the data behind biophilic design, how incorporating nature into the workplace boosts cognitive function, reduces stress, and improves air quality.

So instead of buying bulky pots that take up floor space, what about utilising rows of office storage cabinets?

The tops of these units are notorious for becoming "dead space” - either gathering dust or accumulating clutter. But they can be transformed into built-in planter troughs!

The result?

🪴Zero floor space lost: The plants occupy a footprint you were already using.
🪴Less maintenance: You’ve traded dust-gathering surfaces for gorgeous greenery.
🪴Better workspace zoning: The cabinet-top plants now act as beautiful, natural privacy screens between desk rows.

The bonus is the additional acoustic break that’s provided by planting, particularly in open plan offices.
