So I was lucky enough to get out for a session on my members water this week, the carp weren't playing so decided to have a go for the cats. The first take was only a small fish which I lost due to a hook pull, the second take felt like a solid fish and after a good solid fight it was in the net and weighed in at 52lb 8oz both takes were on the red fermented salmon pellets with a single grill pop up.

Three of the better fish taken on a recent trip to a members only water. The common at 24lb and the mirror at 21 both took the B1 citrus wafter on a flouro carbon D rig supplied by Matt at Therigwallet over pellet and particle the cat fell to 2 x 20ml fermented salmon pellets.

A session to Lakemore Fisheries back end of last week resulted in 5 fish 2 commons at 15lb and 16lb cats at 22lb and 36lb as well as a smaller cat. The commons and 22lb cat fell to the ever reliable B1 wafter and the other 2 cats taking the fermented salmon pellets.

Team member Steve Anthony Abbott fished the Carp and Catfish North qualifier earlier this week in spite of missing out on qualifying Steve landed 4 fish 3 cats that were 27lb 11oz, 28lb 6 oz and 13lb 12 oz
Steve also landed One carp low teen. All. Of Steve's fish fell to a single fermented salmon pellet. Well done Steve.

Congratulations to team member Sean Earlam who fished in the Carp and Catfish North tournament qualifier on long lake at earlier this week and what a session he had. Sean landed 18 cats for a weight of 400lb!!!! Winning his qualifier. Sean fished a variety of methods and put some of the ccn cat range to good use though he may have had a little assistance from bob tecrovk! If you haven't yet fished at lakemore it's definitely worh a go. Long like is on fire at the moment with over a 1000lb of fish caught during the qualifier!

Team member Will Oldham with a recent report from Anglers Paradise. Will and his group fished the ccn fermented salmon pellets and spicy chorizo pellets. They landed a number of cats in the following weights. 10lb,19.5lb,20lb, 24lb, 32lb,33lb,35lb, 38lb,40lb, 42lb with a number of carp caught on the ever faithful B1 wafter. .

Customer Marcus getting in amongst the cats on horshoe at Lakemore Fisheries. Marcus has been fishing the fermented salmon pellets with three fish so far the biggest going 51 lb 12 oz.... Let's hope they keep getting bigger!
