It’s Daddy’s day today with the girls and I get to sit and listen to them singing and playing while I work (albeit the girls stopped singing by this point and Martyn was going solo 😂)

My stuffing basket and I have been very well acquainted these last couple of days

2 days of solid bear stuffing and hand sewing the seams shut 🧸

13/20 done so far, another day of stuffing and then the finishing touches before posting them this weekend.

❎ No, we shouldn’t listen to them

Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for wanting to cherish the things and memories that matter to you

And don’t let anyone convince you they know someone that can do it cheaper, or even for free. They might be brilliant but 100% check first! Ask for photos of previous work because you’ll never get those clothes back

Sending your favourite clothes to a stranger to cut up needs to have the upmost consideration, and there are a few factors you need to think about:

1. Do you love their work?

2. Do you trust them/their business?

3. Are they willing to discuss the project with you for however long you need to?

If you answer “no” to any of these then you haven’t found the person who’s right for you.
