Hello everyone, firstly, I would like to thank you all for the messages concerning what happened today at the shop and making sure that we are all okay and most of all how Jean is ❤️
Unfortunately, we had an attempted robbery in our shop on one of our family members jean (most of you know her as mum )
A man came in with a knife and threatened Jean to hand him the money out of the till, however, Jean being stubborn way that she is was not having any of it, she pulled out a stanley blade, slid the blade out and started walking towards the male yelling at him “very kindly” where to shove his request ! I’m taking by the reaction of the male he was not expecting Jean to act the way she did as his eyes popped out of his head and immediately in a panic ran out of the shop no questions asked ! Along with the police involved they Managed to arrest him along with an accomplice so will be taking it from there !
Not many of you know what we have been through this year with a loss of a family member and health conditions throughout the family but I would love to give a massive well done to mum of the shop Jean thorpe !!! This woman never fails to suprise us and for her to stand up against a 6ft man holding a knife at her takes a whole lot of balls , bravery and passion to protect what we have been building over the last 4 years at our shop!! If you see her please do give her the credit she deserves !!!
