This month is filled with great music, stunning surroundings and delicious food. Start your weekend by joining us at our Farmers' Market this morning until 1pm and discover the best of Suffolk produce, or relax in the sunshine with fresh delights from our summer seafood pop-up, Malted Mussel.

If you'd prefer an evening of music and performance, we're welcoming artists to Summer at Snape for everything from high-octane folk to dazzling jazz harmonies.

Join us from noon today for the reopening of Malted Mussel, our seasonal pop-up on the edge of the River Alde.

Tuck into familiar favourites such as crispy squid and Wightmans lobster and fries, or discover new additions including Cornish mussels served in a smoked bacon and leek chowder boule, plus a rotating selection of daily specials.

Open Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm-7.30pm, from 29 July until 31 August.

Summer Contemporary 2026 is open!

Explore our largest visual arts exhibition of the year, featuring works by emerging and established artists across a wide range of mediums.

This year's artists include British comedian Harry Hill, contemporary printmaker Katherine Jones RA, Nigerian folk artist Abe Odedina, internationally exhibited artist Siobhan Liddell, and many more.

We're thrilled to announce the return of Malted Mussel this summer - our unique pop-up on the quay serving seasonal food inspired by the Suffolk coast.

Alongside returning favourites, there’ll be a new selection of daily specials, and we’ve once again partnered with Chapel Down to create the perfect summer setting to relax, take in the view, and enjoy great food.
