Sorry to all those people desperately in need of rain - no shortage here....

Today I've been mostly stuck doing the farm VAT return, but I did also sew up these new design Wrist Warmers

They are called Peat Bog, are knitted in undyed chocolate-y brown yarn and will be available soon as a knitting kit or a ready knitted item

The upside of being slightly under the weather this last week is that I've done a bit of finishing off of knitted garments

This tank top is now blocked and dry and ready for a new home

It's knitted in many shades of plant dyed yellow, with contrasting undyed grey Colonsay yarn

It measures 64cms around the chest - maybe suitable for a 6 to 8 year old as a rough guide....

And yesterday she finally cooperated. Isn't she a beauty? Her mum is a browny/grey Hebridean cross and I'll pretty sure her father is a Kerry Hill

She's definitely on the keep list!

The David was out this morning so I was forced to leave the house by the girls.

Unfortunately we got caught in a nasty shower but the girls had a quick run in the waves and then we had to negotiate with Scary Mary and Quite Contrary to get back up the track to the house

Pain is more or less gone but I'm still feeling a bit feeble. Thank you to everyone for your comments and messages. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon

Morning Everyone

Just a quick note to apologise for the unscheduled silence.

If teeth and dentistry upset you, stop reading here!

I've got an infection somewhere in my mouth/face. Could be sinus, could be a tooth, could be in the gum or the roof of my mouth.

Started with a dull ache on Tuesday afternoon and progressed to the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. After some elephant sized painkillers from the doctor here I managed a trip to the dentist for an x-ray which didn't narrow down the cause, partly due to the general pain and swelling.

So back home again with antibiotics and more pain relief to see what happens.....it is definitely less sore than it was but still hard to say what's going on.

I'm not going to lie, it's been pretty miserable and I'm definitely feeling sorry for myself. Apologises to anyone waiting for me to get back to them or waiting for me to do something - I will hopefully be back in proper action v soon
