Getting those awkward cuts dialled in 👌✂️

Using to help template those trickier cuts and achieve a clean, precise finish around the kitchen units.

It’s the little details that make the difference — precision is what Wilson Flooring is all about. 👌

Another herringbone transformation complete 👌

Herringbone in Tollymore — a really nice natural tone that works perfectly throughout this space.

Careful preparation, set-out and fitting to get those lines running clean and the finished floor looking spot on.

Proper preparation from the ground up 👌

Concrete subfloor mechanically ground to remove surface laitance and provide a clean, sound surface ready for preparation.

Existing cracks were locally prepared and reinforced using a fibre mesh and repair mortar system prior to smoothing, helping strengthen these vulnerable areas and reduce the risk of cracking transferring through the preparation layer.

The full area was then primed and finished with Kelmore Flex & Fibre smoothing compound, leaving a smooth, solid base ready for the new flooring.

The finished floor is only as good as the preparation underneath it. 👊

More than just fitting the finished floor 👌

A selection of some recent work from Wilson Flooring, covering everything from full subfloor preparation through to the final finishing details.

Specialising in LVT installation, including straight lay, herringbone, basketweave, bespoke borders and feature work, alongside carpets, staircases and sheet vinyl.

I take a lot of pride in the details that make the difference — from getting the preparation right underneath, to set-outs, borders, curves and finishing touches.

Always good to see one of our floors again once the finishing touches are complete. 👌🏼

Herringbone LVT flowing throughout this stunning kitchen and hallway, finished with a full perimeter border and a bespoke curved border following the bottom step of the staircase.

An incredible transformation by JF Joinery & Construction from start to finish. The attention to detail throughout this home speaks for itself — great to see our flooring playing its part in the finished project. 👏🏼

I often get asked why should I go for a Gluedown LVT rather than click flooring and this is a prime example of why.

I had previously installed this floor 3 years ago but the customer has recently had a new kitchen and island fitted but the mitred borders did not match up the old island to the new island.

By using a glue down LVT you are able to rectify this issue by taking the lvt flooring up carefully, cutting the new border in and putting the new border in. As simple as that.

Leaving the customer very happy they don’t have to go through the expense of changing the full floor.
