As many of you know, our journey began around 34 years ago when Terry & Andy opened T & A Carpet World. Together they built a business based on honesty, hard work and looking after their customers. Although Terry is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in everything we've continued to do, and we know many of you will remember him with great fondness.
Over the years, the business evolved into T & A Flooring, and later many of you came to know us simply as Andy & Jackie. Through every stage, you've supported us not just as customers, but as friends, neighbours and part of our extended family.
Helping you choose flooring for your homes, seeing familiar faces return year after year, and even serving the next generation of families has been an absolute privilege. We can't thank you enough for the loyalty, kindness and support you've shown us over the past 34 years.
While we're closing our retail shop, this is not the end of T & A Flooring. We will continue to trade and provide the same friendly, reliable service you've always known—just without the shop premises.
This is the end of one chapter, but not the end of T & A Flooring just yet... well, that's until the old rooster has had enough... and you all know that will not be anytime soon!
As one door closes, another opens. We'd like to wish Ria Machin Machin every success as she begins an exciting new chapter. Very soon, No. 6 St John's Road will become the new home of Mana Childcare Early Years Setting , and we couldn't think of a more fitting future for our building. After so many years of welcoming our wonderful customers, it's lovely to know it will now be filled with children's smiles, laughter and happiness. We wish Ria and everyone at Mana Childcare Early Years Setting every success and hope No. 6 continues to be a place where happy memories are made for many more years to come.
To everyone who has supported us over the years, thank you. Thank you for believing in us, for recommending us, for your continued loyalty, and for being part of a journey that started with Terry & Andy's vision, hard work and sheer determination all those years ago. We know Terry would have been incredibly proud of what the business became and of the friendships it created along the way.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Although we're closing the shop door, the story of T & A Flooring continues, and we look forward to helping you with your flooring needs for many years to come.
Here's to Terry, to old friends, to new beginnings, and to the next chapter.
