✨Exciting news yarn lovers!
✨our naturally dyed yarn shop is now going to open on Saturdays too 😄
✨keeping our usual weekly hours Monday to Friday 11-4 but now a wee bonus Saturday shopping 12-4
✨all our usual goodies stocked high and wide in the shop- all welcome- even just to browse and wonder at the magic of natural plant dye colours 🌈✨🌱

🐏 Our 100% Blue Faced Leicester sock yarn - in our shop on Skye now.
🌱All naturally dyed with plants - we have had so much fun playing with plants and colours with stocainn - you can go a bit more crazy with a sock yarn 😊
Simo has been going flat out in the dye shed and we have more bundle dyed skeins to come very very soon!
✨Come see us in the shop.. open this Easter weekend too- Saturday 11-4 💪✨

✨Introducing Snath :: our new bespoke worsted weight woollen spun yarn.
✨It is a blend of Blue faced Leicester and zwarble fibre.. all sourced in the UK and spun here too. We have had so much fun developing her and we couldn’t be more happy 😃 She is a beauty!!!
🧶Woolly, rustic, soft, she has so much character.
🌱We have plenty of naturally dyed shades in our shop on Skye and I popped some in our online shop too ###

✨we are starting this new year with diligence and attention… not rushing our work but enjoying every step of the process 🌱🪄
✨the dye shed is a cosy place to be on chilly January days and this week we have been dyeing with oak shavings from and log wood - giving warm caramel shades and the richest of purples
✨now these hanks need to be rinsed and dried before heading to the winding shed. That’s where I spend most of my days and I have to say it’s not such a cosy shed 🤪🥶

✨we are all packed up and ready to hit the road early tomorrow morning - travelling to 😄
✨it has been over 5 years since we last did a yarn festival and we are so excited to put together a little stall showing what we do 🌱✨
✨we are bringing lots of yarn (of course 🤪) but also lots of naturally dyed,British made socks & hats.
✨we are also bringing as many charity baubles as we can! £10 for a large bauble or two minis.. every penny going to so please come along and see us if you can. 🎄🧡

✨our charity baubles are back and this year all proceeds are going to .. the most amazing charity 🙏✨
✨so far we have raised over £800 and this fresh batch whipped up by will be coming with us to so please come along this weekend and help us raise even more money for such a worthwhile cause…

✨simo has been busy all day making up a HUGE batch of his famous mince pies for tomorrow’s Christmas shopping night
✨we will have mince pies for sale and to enjoy whilst you have a browse and natter.
✨Amelia and I have been very busy making our charity baubles too- all monies raised this year are going to .. really hope you can pop in.. we will be here from 11-8 xx

✨we are so excited to share with you a wee taster of what is to come in our gratitude advent calendars!
✨we are keeping the naturally dyed colours a secret so each day through December you will open up another shade of our naturally dyed Uir 4 ply yarn - a delicious blend of BFL and Masham British fibre 🐏
✨in each advent parcel you get 25 x 10g mini skeins, a meditation crystal, gratitude quotes and intention incense
✨you also get a printed copy of the amazing- and I really mean amazing - shawl pattern designed especially for this gratitude advent by - it is a perfect project to knit daily through December - taking quiet moments in this busy time - slowly knitting and reflecting on all we can be grateful for xx
