I was asked by a lovely lady if I could turn this old barrel into a planter for a palm tree

I said and took on the challenge

After hours and hours of getting the old paint, stains and dents out of it (a lot of sweat blood and almost tears) I was down to what was a beautiful oak with a lovely grain

I then varnished the wood and painted the rings to achieve my final piece and it was ready

And now it’s in its forever home looking beautiful
