Setting fires kills the ground, sterilises the soil, burning and destroying the seeds. It takes at least 2 years to recover from Scorching. This reduces biodiversity. In sites of Sites of Special Scientific Interest, this is devastating. We could lose some species forever. During drought, even 1 spark can lead to wildfires, that kill swathes of wildlife and habitats. Please do not light fires in the Lake District National Park . Please, LEAVE NO TRACE! Not even a scorch mark. Thanks.

Coffee by the fire 🔥☕🥰

Your dog attacks a sheep and you just walk away and leave it for dead...no words.

It is a criminal offence for an owner (or person in charge) to allow a dog to worry livestock on any agricultural land. The definition includes attacking livestock as well as chasing them in such a way that a dog is expected to cause injury or suffering and simply being at large in a field where there are sheep.
