What a summer it's been.
Every single customer who walked through our door at 14 Fore Street this summer, thank you. Every "just browsing" that turned into a chat, every child who picked out their own treasure, every one of you who chose us, we've noticed, and we've loved it.
As we start turning towards autumn (and, let's be honest, the miserable winter days that will eventually arrive), we'd love to stay in your thoughts a little longer. This isn't a plea, it's just a friendly reminder that Seaton has over 40 independent businesses, and every one of us relies on you choosing us, season after season.
Here's the slightly funny bit: a shop that survives on people shopping local is about to tell you to shop with us online. But it's true. Milly & Bea has a website at millyandbea.square.site, where you can browse everything we stock. Even better, we offer free local delivery, same day if you order before midday.
So if you can't get out to the high street, or you remember on a Friday night that you need something for first thing Saturday morning, check whether your high street favourites (us included) offer online ordering or delivery. Shopping local doesn't always mean walking through the door. Sometimes it means clicking a button and still keeping your money, and your custom, right here in Seaton.
And because we'd love an excuse to say thank you properly: starting this week, anyone who spends £20 or more in-store will receive a 20% discount code to use on any online order this autumn and winter. Come and see us, and take a little something extra away for later.
