Home of the ‘workshop in a box’ and our ‘In the Loop’ crochet box bringing you a fresh box of woolly inspiration with our own exclusive crochet designs straight to your door every few months. Welcome to Beacon Crafts, your friendly wool, craft and haberdashery shop ran by myself, Woolly Helen and the 'ever so helpful ' Shirley and Caroline! All of us at Beacon Crafts have been keen crafters for a

n awfully long time and are on hand to help with any crafty dilemmas you may have. We love all things crafty and specialise in crochet and textile craft workshops including the best ever 'crafter noon teas'' (supplied by our neighbours Chambre Rose) in our cheerful, crafty school room above our shop. We also design our own crochet patterns and kits for you to enjoy at home, these can be purchased through our Etsy store. We are excited to announce that we can now offer small craft parties or get togethers too for you and your family or friends, just message us or pop in to chat and we can design a party to suit your requirements and budget.

First a few bits of info for you 😊

Tomorrow is our second session of our Loopy Stitch Society! I’m so excited !!

🌟 We still have some spaces, so if you’d like to join the Midlands biggest crochet group either this Monday or Tuesday please message me to reserve or space - we do welcome walk ins too but please message me to check we have spaces (before 5.30 on the evening please)

I have a busy day planning for our future Loopy Stitch society sessions and finishing off our next In the Loop box design!

It’s a hard life all this crocheting 🧶🤣💕

Next session sees the start of our loopy stitch cal squares, these patterns are exclusive to our loopy stitchers 😊
I’m looking forward to seeing all the different variations 😊

And I’ll be revealing a little idea of mine that’s top secret 🤫

Just 1 week to go until our next session of The Loopy Stitch Society. 🧶

We had a lovely time last week and lots of our hookers are making up there free bookmark kits.

It couldn’t have gone better, both groups were so lovely and everyone got along and crocheted and chatted the night away 🥰 lots have blocked booked which made me feel wonderful, because it proved it was a success and they had a wonderful time 🥰 we have bookings into early next year already!!

Next week we will be launching our community projects and a little secret 🤫 Whos joining us?

Spaces are now limited - pre booking advised, but we welcome paying on the door (cash only) if we have the room (please message us first to check) block bookings are discounted too and you can pick your weeks ! 😊

We want to make everyone feel welcome and part of our group, for those who are a little shy or nervous we have our ‘come sit with us’ table, you will always be made to feel part of the group and make friends immediately ❤️
