After a good end to the season of 2025 and a strong start from my autumn sown seedlings surviving the winter, it turns out that they were no match for the wind. My sheltered spot from the wind was no longer sheltered 🙈 Thankfully the seedlings survived the weather and continued to flourish, but unfortunately they were no match for the rabbits who had decided that this year, my patch was much more appealing than the surrounding fields! But never mind, fence re-done and rabbit proofed, and I continue to Sow and See! 💐

Whilst Dahlias are not top of my list of favourite flowers, with the recent weather, they really have come into their own. Lots of colours coming through and their new bed for this season seems to be to their liking.

By my own admission, I am a bit like a yo-yo with my flower patch. One week it's organised, the grass is cut, the flowers are watered regularly. The next, it gets abandoned for days and days on end. But for whatever reason, my flower patch continues to deliver despite my lack of attention. Nothing hits better than arriving at my patch to be met by beautiful blooms, with many plants yet to flower 🥰
