As a schnauzer owner, we’re very lucky, all 4 breed colours to have a wonderful palette to work with, black, grey and white really does work with all colours, but RED has to be my favourite, and possibly the most popular colour we make.

We are finally back from our little adventures. What started as a week long holiday actually became an additional week of being an actual castaway, stranded on an island. It’s a long story.

If you ever find yourself in the Outer Hebrides, I’d advise against the stranded or castaway and choose the safe ‘holiday’ option, then please do pop in to Hungry Hounds Hebrides based in Stornoway. Linda and the gorgeous Nellie will give you a very warm welcome.

We didn’t just pop and see her once or twice but 3 times to stock up on raw dog food whilst being stranded. Thank goodness she was there! She also stocks plenty of treats, natural treats, and lots more, so please do support.

A little life update:

So our trip to the Outer Hebrides has been slightly extended (by 6 days so far, but another 2 at least).

It’s a loooong story but we have been without our car since last Friday, racking up taxis (£120), hotels, meals and car hires for the last 6 days.

We’ve attempted to ‘holiday’ whilst navigating plans, I think we are on plan X which should shed light on the matter later today.

The girls….we’ll see for yourself….they are taking it all in their stride.

Orders will commence at some stage, hoping to be home Saturday and decompress before hitting the studio Monday with a slow return to work.

We’re taking our Ribblesdale collars away with us on holiday and paired them with a waterproof lead in the gorgeous moss...

We’ve made it easier to find our Biothane leads on the website, and they are now in a drop down box with the matching collar.

Perfect for sandy walks, wet walks, muddy walks, country walks. Simply rinse under the tap to clean it, and for those muckier walks a little washing up liquid and cloth will bring it back to clean again!
