🖤 GOING GRIMDARK WITH VILLAINY INKS! 🖤

I’ve been experimenting with Villainy Inks and this is my first attempt at pushing a miniature into that grimdark, gritty style. 👀

The great thing about these inks is how much depth, grime, weathering and atmosphere you can create with them. They’re fantastic for picking out texture, pushing shadows and giving your models that properly lived-in look.

We’re having a brilliant day of Warhammer, games, laughs and plenty of hobby chat at The Grumpy Pony Hobby Shop in Sevenoaks!

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or you’ve never played a game before, this is a fantastic event to come along and get involved. 🙌

New to Warhammer? We will be organising more teams events so why not come and give it a go! Teams events are a great way to learn, meet other players and enjoy some games without any pressure to be an expert. There’ll be plenty of friendly faces around to help you get stuck in.

🇯🇵 THE GHOSTS HAVE ARRIVED… 👻

Our latest Konflikt ’47 stock from Warlord Games has landed — and the new Empire of Japan releases are looking seriously sinister.

First up: the Ghost Attack Infantry. Able to phase in and out of reality, these warriors can appear where the enemy least expects them, striking hard before vanishing back into the Spirit Realm.

And then there’s Kimura Tadaaki, Scourge of the Spirit Realm.

Once an Imperial Japanese Army test pilot, Kimura was seemingly killed when a prototype ghost engine exploded, engulfing him in Rift energy. He survived… but returned as something far beyond human. Now armed with abilities drawn from the energies of Shinobi Space, he leads the Ghosts into battle.

⚔️ The Empire of Japan has entered a whole new kind of war.

⚔️ AGE OF SIGMAR — 2 PLAYER TEAMS EVENT! ⚔️

Fancy doing something a little different with your Age of Sigmar games?

We're putting on a 2-player Teams event using the General's Handbook 2026–27!

🔥 500 points per player
🤝 2 players per team
⚔️ 1,000 points of glorious teamwork
🛡️ Different factions & different formations
💥 Your army. Your General. Your decisions.

You'll fight alongside your teammate, share Command Points and objectives, coordinate Battle Tactics and hopefully come up with some wonderfully questionable combinations!

But don't worry — you can't order your mate's models around, so when their General charges headfirst into certain death... that's THEIR problem. 😂

We'll be playing two GHB 26/27 battleplans:

🏔️ Avalanche of Ash
💀 Caverns of Slaughter

Your team's final score will be the combined Victory Points from both games.

And if it's a draw?

⚔️ CAPTAIN'S DUEL.
Each team chooses one General.
One battlefield.
One winner.
No excuses.
