At Edward and Emma Bulmer’s house, the walls are covered not in wallpaper but in a Rubelli fabric they first spotted in a château in France, set against navy blue woodwork. A brilliant little room.

As the days get shorter, we’re finding ourselves drawn back to the warmer rooms in our archive.

This dining room, painted in Little Greene Middle Buff, is a particular favourite. Rich, warm and just the right side of orange, it works beautifully with the dark wood, old paintings and silver.

A colour that really comes into its own at this time of year.

Filled with pattern and print, there is so much character in these beautiful bedrooms in Cath Beckett’s Yorkshire home, as seen in House & Garden Magazine. So many good details to take in. 👏👏👏
