Just to let you lovely people know that this Sunday 2nd August , we are having our annual staff SUN DAY . Which means we are closed so our fantastic team can have an additional day of rest in the sun or attend one of the many summer events going on around the island . I am sure you will agree they deserve it . Business as usual the rest of the week

Hi everyone who will be on the Island on the 5th July . Some of you know Derick and I have a charity called Kafuta Tumbung School Trust . Educating over 220 children in a remote Gambian village .

Friends of ours , Sarah & Michael , have made the generous offer to host an open gardens at their beautiful Georgian farmhouse in aid of the school . It is a ticket only event , £10 per person to include a traditional cream tea . It takes place on 5th July 1 -5.30pm , there will be parking. Tickets available at [email protected]

Thank you to Michelle who works at Jingle Bells for these beautiful photos of our flower beds at the front of the shop . Once again we are trying to keep to our festive theme and are thrilled by our new tulips called Santa - we think you will agree they are stunning
