Thomas Sinclair, Shoreside, Shapinsay We are a small independent General Store & Post Office on the Island of Shapinsay in Orkney. Frequent deliveries of fresh butchers meat, fish, fruit & veg.

We provide all the essencials for island life plus a few luxuries ie. Highland Park & Scapa
whiskies, a good range of Orkney beers, Smoked Salmon etc.. " Balfour Bakery" bakes fresh bread and bakery goods on the premises and our
Bere Bannock is very popular with locals as well as visitors. Locally
produced goods when available. Take Away hot drinks, cold beer/soft drinks. Hot pies or Ice creams,
sandwiches & snacks. Postcards and local products. Open 7 days a week.

A phone was found, by a visitor, today, on the picnic bench by the cannons at the top o the Shapinsay slip. They are taking the 3.15 back to town & will put the phone to the police station.
