Wales is almost becoming my second home!! An impromptu overnighter produced a couple of spotted rays🎣🎣 on this beautiful occasion the weather was less like wales and more like the canaries!! Ogmore beach was busy with holiday makers but I managed to catch just after dark on a squid and mackerel baited pulley rig. The land of dragons seems to get more scenic every time I go… looking forward to the next trip already! Tight lines and sharp hooks to all those out enjoying the weather fishing may your next fish be a beast!!👌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🎣

A few of the species hunters were crazy enough to brave the arctic conditions last night… lots of dogfish, a few whiting and a flounder were caught by myself throughout the evening, after the tide turned I managed to catch the target species, a fairly decent thornback ray, Anton fishing next to me had one straight after…. Two happy faces! 😁😁
Boy that was a chilly one, was glad to get home to a nice hot cuppa!!

Little oddities pop up now and again and this spiky little sea scorpion took the bait from deal beach yesterday, haven’t caught a sea scorpion for a while so thought I’d share an image of it so other people can have a look, strange little fish growled at me whilst unhooking too, they really do make a vibrating little grumble! 🎣👌
