A new Union Pacific 4-6-6-4 Challenger locomotive has been announced from Athearn. Expected October 2022, the line up includes #3985 which is a UP preserved loco which saw regular 'specials' work until the Big Boy went mainline, its currently under heavy overhaul.

DCC ready and DCC sound versions are available to pre-order now. No payment is taken until the model is despatched.
