WE ARE HIRING

Cook (Part-Time) | All is Good, Pen*stone

**16 hours per week**

We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable cook to join Team AIG.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen where you'll prepare and cook our simple, fresh zero waste menu to order while helping to develop new dishes and keep our kitchen running smoothly.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

* Cooking food to order
* Food preparation and stock rotation
* Ordering & stock management
* Menu development
* Maintaining food safety records
* Following allergen procedures and ensuring compliance
* Washing pots and keeping the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic
* Working closely with the front of house team to provide excellent customer service

Hours: 16 hours per week worked across 3 days, including one weekend day.
Shifts start no earlier than 8:00am and finish no later than 4:00pm
You'll may also be required to work approximately one evening each month for our popular events

There is potential for additional hours for the right person as the business continues to grow.

You'll ideally have:

Experience working in a busy café, restaurant or commercial kitchen
The ability to stay calm and organised during busy service
A passion for fresh food and attention to detail
Great teamwork and communication skills
Confidence working independently when required
A positive, can-do attitude

Essential Qualifications

Level 2 Award in Food Safety
Food Allergen Awareness Training
A good understanding of current food hygiene legislation and HACCP principles
