My son asked me the other day if I could take him to the cinema πŸ˜€
"Can we go when I'm better?" He said "You and me?"
I felt genuine excitement as he has never asked to go before and, up until now, he has never really seemed excited about anything other than playing with his toys and chocolate 🀣
I'm not sure how he will cope with the noise and darkness but I'm on a mission to find an screening near where we live and I'm looking forward to taking him ❀
Documented the beautiful little moment in my neuro versatile life planner 🧑

I am so in love with my new KnewKey mechanical keyboard it is an absolute joy to type on and so far I've had no issues with connectivity and the like! πŸ˜€
I didnt actually realise at the time of purchase but this keyboard can connect to 3 different devices providing each device has Bluetooth. I think I missed that as I was so dazzled by how pretty it is! 😍
It also has different back-light programes. So pretty!
The keys are obviously noisy when typing but I like the "click click" sound it makes ❀
One thing I will say is that if (like me) you have an ipad 12.9 Pro or similar sized tablet then using the tablet holder can make the keyboard a little wobbly when typing due to the weight of the ipad πŸ€”
I knew this may be the case as it was mentioned in the set up instructions anyway so for me personally I have opted to have my ipad on a seperate stand when typing. No biggie πŸ‘πŸ»

Setting up the week in my neuro versatile planner πŸ’›
I have quite a few appointments this week that need to go in but apart from that I kind of struggle somethings knowing what to do with this space as I am more of a daily planner and love my daily spreads! πŸ˜€
So far ideas I have come up with for the weekly spread are ...
β–ͺ︎ gratitude journal
β–ͺ︎ social media tracker
β–ͺ︎ food diary
β–ͺ︎ exercise tracker
β–ͺ︎ photo memory keeper
Any ideas to add to the list?
Have a great Tuesday lovelies!

It was the first day back at school today and in typical Alfie style he has been off as he is sick again. I hate tonsils 🀨
For me that meant getting set up at the dining table and doing a little work in between taking care of Alfie and some housework 🧹
I like to use my to keep track of most of my main business related tasks because I don't have to think about where things are as much as I do with my digital planner. My brain seems to work .jones.way tasks much better in my digital planner anyway so it's all good! πŸ˜€
Do you plan using a combination of digital and paper planning?

Today my husband took my youngest son out for half an hour to the supermarket.

It may sound like such a normal everyday thing but, for me, it's a big deal because not watching my son makes me feel very unsafe and anxious. Panic is probably the most accurate word I can find to describe how I feel when he's not in sight.

I know this is not healthy for myself, my husband as a father or our son. So I'm trying very hard, despite being constantly hyper-vigalent and not seeming to have any control over that yet, to not stop the beauty and naturalness of a father taking his son out to the supermarket on a Sunday and treating him to something special like a small toy or book πŸ’›

My distraction for those 30 minutes alone in the house was a bit of cleaning and a little time in my digital planner.

Part of me kind of hopes my husband sees this post as I find it difficult to explain my feelings and actions in conversation but not when I'm writing ❀

The glass is filled with Pepsi just to be clear! 🀣

Happy Sunday!

Just a reminder that, no matter what you may be struggling with, each day is a new day and it is 100% OK to stop and rest when needed.

In fact, it's more than OK! It is essential self care πŸ’›

CW - mention of c-ptsd and treament but no specific details of trauma.

I was recently diagnosed with C-PTSD and am due to start a new treatment next week πŸ’›

I would have never in a hundred years have considered myself as having c-ptsd as I was pretty uneducated on the subject and just didn't realise that it could be an explanation for the way I experience life on a daily basis πŸ’›

The anxious part of me, of course, began immediately researching the diagnosis and treatment options for it and (honestly?) I'm really nervous about the treatment as I'll be started EMDR treatment which partly focuses on remembering the trauma or traumas which is something my brain has spent a lifetime trying not to do!

I'm expecting this to be tough. But I'm tough too. I got this far albeit its not been easy πŸ’›

Naturally memories have been popping up at the most random times for me as I guess I'm now consciously looking out for them.

This diagnosis makes sense to me and I feel hopeful.

To anyone else out there struggling right now as a result of trauma you've experienced please know this - your brain is not broken! C-ptsd and ptsd is a natural response to a trauma experience.

I'm always open to further education and I would be grateful to hear others experiences with treatment and ongoing recovery if you feel comfortable sharing. If not, I understand with all my heart. I really do ❀
