We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who takes the time to donate items to The Link Community Shop. Your kindness and generosity help us support so many people in our community.
We understand that parking outside the shop can sometimes be difficult, and we are very grateful to those who show patience and consideration while donations are being unloaded.
Unfortunately, yesterday we experienced an incident involving the driver of a white 26-plate Chery. The individual’s behaviour towards staff, volunteers and visitors was unacceptable. Their aggressive and disrespectful manner caused distress and made several people feel uncomfortable.
We would like to reassure our customers, service users, volunteers and donors that this behaviour is not tolerated at The Link. The police have been made aware of the incident.
The Link is built on kindness, respect and community spirit, and we ask everyone who visits the area to treat others with courtesy and consideration.
Please keep bringing in your donations – they make a huge difference to the people we support every day. Thank you once again for your patience, kindness and continued support of The Link Community Shop.
