As most of you here know, The Glass Dunnock is not my full-time job. I'm a mum, a primary school teacher and a guide dog fosterer. I love making pretty things out of glass but lately I just haven't had the capacity to do it all. So...... I'm going to have a little break from stained glass.

It's not goodbye; I might do the odd market around christmas time but for now it's a big thank you to everyone that's ever come to say hello at a market, bought anything or just liked my work. It really did mean a lot.

I have a few orders still post out this week then I'll close the website.

They're back!

I've made lots of glass pickles this year and will be taking them to all the Christmas markets of the year. Pickles are also avaiable on the website.

What is the pickle all about?
Its a German/ American tradition that I'm bringing to lovely Sheffield. I think It's always nice to start a new Christmas tradition with friends or family.

In the tradition, after hanging out in the home, the glass pickle is hidden within the branches of your Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day morning, the first person to find the glass pickle, on the tree, will receive an extra present from Santa(we do a chocolate orange)or be said to have a year of good fortune and luck!

I'm taking Christmas Orders!

If you would like to order a handmade piece of glass, now is the time to do it. I usually close online orders at the end of November.

I offer free local collection (Crookes) or can post out to anywhere in the UK.

I'll be at a few events in and around Sheffield with lots of lovely glass so come and say hello.
