There is no stopping this lad. It’s freezing cold 🥶 but he’s still catching on the LT’s.

Jackson has been to a local farm pond for the day and caught this lovely Football ⚽️ Common Carp weighing 21lb.

Jackson used a solid bag approach with crushed up Rod Hutchinson LT Boilies mixed with Bait-tech Spod PVA Pellet and a Pink Juice 10mm wafter hookbait

With the forecast showing slightly above average temperature for the time of year, I decided it was now or never to try and salvage what’s been a very difficult winter period. This upper double mirror thankfully graced my net after being tempted by a whittled down LT pop-up with a tiny parcel of Nutty Bait crumb in a mesh bag, fished at 22 wraps in open water. Perserverance pays off!
