For the last 6 months I've been working on a huge project. These two obelisks were a commission for a garden. I was given the pyramid frames and made eight (8!) panels of two designs to slot into the frame. I must admit, I had some scepticism about the concept, and after doing the first two panels, I was really regretting my choices, especially with the flower panel which was a nightmare to lead, and I had to make 4 of them 🤦🏻♀️
But after HOURS and HOURS of work, and HOURS of cementing, cleaning and polishing, they're finally done and in pride of place in their new home. 💚
I'm really chuffed with how they came out, but I won't be rushing to make any more of these!
Despite all the effort, I do think it was worth it, and I think they look fab amongst all the greenery and goregous flowers in the garden.
If you're interested in a project like this for your garden, do get in touch, but give me a bit of a rest first!
