Elegance Music is a Music shop and Tuition Centre in Millhouses, Sheffield. We also repair, restore, and restring instruments.

We sell a huge selection of sheet music, accessories, gifts and instruments, and provide quality tuition too. Following a long and successful career in music retail, tuition and performance, we are proud to announce that Elegance Music has now moved to Millhouses, Sheffield 7. Located on Terminus Road, opposite Milhouses Park, Elegance Music offers a huge range of sheet music, accessories and musi

Not only do we stock songs from the shows, buskers hits and chart toppers, we also provide over 500 different tuition and exam books including ABRSM, London College of Music, Trinity College, London and Rockschool. In addition to our retail store, Elegance Music also offers a public performance range, including live and recorded music for special occasions including Weddings, Birthdays, Garden Parties, Funerals, and Corporate Events. We are very proud to say that we have received no less than 100% positive feedback from each and every performance to date.

Occasionally we get a fantastic preowned instrument into the shop. . . . This is a beautiful Encore Falcon mandolin with a classic sunburst finish. This is a brilliant instrument for beginners, intermediate players, or anyone looking to their collection.

Condition:
The mandolin is in very good overall condition. It has been well cared for, with only minor signs of use on the headstock. Everything functions as it should—tuning pegs are smooth, and it plays nicely up and down the neck. A steal at £150.00

Happy National Double Bass Day! 🎶Who knew there was a whole day dedicated to a big lump of wood??? 🤷Matt is one of our tutors here at Elegance, who happens to play that big lump of wood, this is what he has to say about it.

I first picked up the bass back in Y11 at Meadowhead School. There was a double bass sitting in a cupboard and I fancied giving it a go. I’d already been playing violin for a while by then, but it turns out bass suited me much better — my chubby fingers finally felt at home!
After going on to study music, the double bass has taken me on some pretty amazing adventures, including touring the UK and Ireland with theatre shows.
And since it’s January, my evenings and weekends are taken up by playing in the band for the annual pantomime at Sheffield City Hall — a brilliant way to start the year. (oh no it isn’t!)
I’m very grateful for this big instrument and all the opportunities it’s given me!

So get the date in your diaries folks if you want to see Matt in action - Jan 2027, he'll be at the Sheffield city hall at the panto - Oh yes he is!
