Monday is Press Day and the Royal visit at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show. This year there is one particular exhibit that we are looking forward to seeing: The Farewell Flowers Directory at the heart of the Great Pavilion.
We are members of and they have decided to celebrate the Directory’s first anniversary by creating a landmark display at , the world-famous flower show!

The Farewell Flowers Directory will show visitors that funeral flowers do not have to look sombre and funereal. They can be anything you want them to be - gentle, bold, elegant or wildly natural. We work with you to best reflect a life, a time and a place.

Flowers can be a gentle way into the conversation around what your wishes might be. At Chelsea the will be inviting people to share their thoughts on tags which will decorate the perimeter of the stand. “I’d like my funeral to be…” What would you like?

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show opens on 19th May with Press Day and the Royal visit.

I recently went to a fascinating talk about the health of my local rivers, not all bad but one of the most shocking facts was that many of the caddisfly larvae studied are now using micro plastic rather that sand particles to build their protective casing 😔💔😔
In contrast whilst creating this wreath for a family to remember loved ones a little wren popped down and pinched some moss from the wreath for its nest 🪺🥰🪺
We can all take little steps to help our precious planet 💚🌍💚

🌸🌿🌸DIY FLOWER BUCKETS 🌸🌿🌸

Available from May through until the end of September our DIY flower buckets are bursting with a gorgeous mix of fresh, seasonal flowers and foliage.
The buckets are perfect for DIY weddings and also often used by customers for Christenings, parties and other life celebrations events too.

I will gather the best of the weeks flowers and foliage, maybe some grasses, herbs and seed heads depending on the season for you a few days before required, they will then be left to condition and rest with me over night ready for you to collect and get creative.

I can’t guarantee you won’t get the odd bumble or honey bee trying to come with you though as you pack your flowers but I’ll try my best as I like to keep them here on the farm 😀🐝🌸🐝😀

Some dates for 2025 ( not currently taking bookings for 2026) are already booked up so please get in touch to book or if you have any questions.

Please note consultations are not available for DIY buckets also my flowers are farm grown on the edge of the Peak District moors so have a meadow, slightly wild unique vibe to them rather than picture perfect Pinterest blooms.

DIY Buckets are ideal for anyone who's feeling creative or working within a smaller budget, whilst allowing you to add a personal touch to your day. Choose from the ‘Growers Choice’ or aternatively you can provide a loose colour guide and we will pick for you based on that.

Hi everyone

Just a quick update and reminder of what we offer as we move into the 2025 flower season.
I am moving away from full weddings ( apart from a few I am honouring)

🌸DIY Flower buckets for weddings and special occasions will be available from late April/May, booking is advisable🌸

💚Farewell flowers, unique sustainable arrangements created without the use of plastic or floral foam 💚

💐Seasonal Bouquets will be available from late Spring for collection or local delivery💐

I’m ready to get growing and gathering again!
