Crafting for Comfort:
A Gentle Afternoon with Jan Muse
Join Jan for a gentle, supportive afternoon of creative crafting designed to bring comfort to the spaces of sadness within us.
This workshop is a quiet space to honour our grief and tend to our hearts through the soothing act of making.
Together, we will work with warm, grounding textures, using wool, fabrics, and natural materials,to create tangible pieces of comfort.
Workshop Details:
No experience necessary: You do not need to be "artistic" or have any crafting skills to join. This afternoon is entirely about the process of healing, not perfection.
What to expect:
A slow-paced, warm, and welcoming environment where you can connect with your feelings and others at your own comfort level.
All materials provided:
All textiles, wool, and natural elements will be ready for you when you arrive.
If you have clothing, photos or anything you would like to incorporate, please bring them along with you.
Come exactly as you are. Whether your grief is fresh or long-held, you are so welcome here.
There will be a short Holy Fire Reiki experience included to lift us before we leave.
A gentle note for those joining us
Please be aware that Sheffield Goddess Temple is located upstairs, and sadly the space is not suitable for anyone who may find navigating stairs difficult. Although, there is a supportive handrail on one side.
The Airy Fairy shop and café open at 12 noon on Sundays, so we kindly ask that you don’t arrive earlier, as the doors will be closed until then.
We will enjoy a short, relaxed break during our time together, a moment to stretch, share reflections, and nourish ourselves with warm café drinks, while also offering our support to the lovely Airy Fairy Café.
A gentle pause for connection, comfort, and community
As always, if money is tight. Please approach me for discount and funded spaces.
