James Lister Classical Guitars Classical and flamenco guitars hand made to the highest standards. A well established luthier with a reputation for high quality and finish.

Specialising in classical and flamenco guitars built in the Spanish tradition, but also building instruments to a more contemporary design, with features including armrests, soundports, elevated fingerboards and pickup systems. Working mostly to commission, from professional players, students and keen amateurs within the UK and internationally.

When cleating a crack it's important that the area where the cleat is to be glued is clean. I this case, the cleat needed to be placed close to the far end of the soundboard - very difficult to reach. Here's a little trick I've recently started using. A small piece of flat hardwood with abrasive paper fixed to one side with double-sided tape. Magnets fixed to the other side, and off you go...
