From 12 August 2026, the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) began to apply generally across the EU.

Compliance doesn't stop with the product. As new packaging requirements come into force, Wolf Safety has issued an EU and UK Declaration of Conformity covering packaging across a wide range of our ATEX and IECEx certified products.

For customers and distributors operating across international markets, packaging compliance is another important part of supply-chain assurance.

Our latest blog explains what the new requirements mean and how Wolf is supporting compliant product supply across the UK, Europe and international markets.

Another substantial shipment is leaving Sheffield today, destined for two projects operating offshore Angola. FPSOs present some of the most demanding working environments in the energy sector, where reliable Hazardous Area equipment is essential for maintaining safe and efficient operations.

This latest consignment includes Hazardous Area temporary lighting and associated equipment that will support work on board floating production facilities in one of Africa’s most important offshore oil and gas regions.

Wolf products are trusted on FPSOs and offshore installations around the world, helping operators work safely in potentially explosive atmospheres.

From Sheffield to offshore Angola, this shipment is another example of how Wolf products help keep people safe in hazardous working environments around the world.
