Very pleased to be adding The Gleaning, a new collection of poetry by Sheffield-based poet , to our dedicated longbarrowpress poetry section. The book is the second collection of hers published by Longbarrow, which is also based in Sheffield and has developed a strong reputation for quality independent local publishing and high production values

Once fairly regularly in stock, we haven’t had any handbooks for a few years so it’s been great to acquire this batch from the 1940s & 50s. Even better, and a first for us, we’ve also got a few ramblers handbooks too. You’ll find them near our local studies and climbing sections along with all our other walking and rambling books and pamphlets

As Sheffield goes for the next two weeks it seems appropriate to draw attention to a couple of authenticated signed photographs of two snooker legends: Jimmy White & Terry Griffiths. Both photos, along with a signed first-edition hardback copy of Jimmy’s autobiography, Second Wind, are currently on sale at KIBAM. One copy of each only. No reserves. If you want one you’ll have to be quick.
