We noticed there aren’t any giant lions stationed on Ecclesall Road for the city trail... So, we’ve decided to make our own!

Introducing The Lion’s Mane Masterclass (Running Week 2: 29th July - 1st Aug & Week 5: 19th Aug - 22nd Aug). We are inviting your mini makers to extend their trail day out, head to Ecclesall Road, to pipe and decorate their very own delicious chocolate lions! 🍫🦁

We haven’t even posted this yet and slots are already starting to sell overnight! 🦁✨
This summer holiday, we are bringing 3 brand-new, wildly creative themes to our little shop on Ecclesall Road. Whether your junior chocolatiers want to swirl turquoise spirulina oceans 🌊, pipe textured chocolate lion manes 🐾, or paint retro pop-art masterpieces 🎨, we have the perfect creative canvas for them.

To make sure every child gets the best experience, we are doing things a bit differently this year and releasing our slots in stages.
Our initial Wednesday – Friday blocks are open right now. If your preferred week sells out, don’t panic! Make sure you are following our page and have post notifications turned ON 🔔. As soon as a Wed–Fri block fills up, we will be “unlocking” our bonus Tuesday and Saturday slots exclusively here on our stories!

Think i might have to try this with my little boy he’s only just gone to sleep 🙈…. For a few weeks now, this customer has been working hard on their bedtime routine, saving up 20p coins one by one in a little tin tea caddy. Today was finally the big day to break the bank! 🏦
The reward? A hard-earned bag of fizzy cola bottles and more. 🍬 There is nothing quite like the pride of handing over your own savings for your favourite treats.
We feel so lucky that Cocoa is the place where these little milestones happen. Moments like this are exactly why we do what we do! Love my job 💕

Hi everyone! We’re so excited to share some news about a special collaboration happening right here in our neighbourhood.

For those who don’t know us, Cocoa Wonderland is our little chocolate shop on Ecclesall Road, where we love all things artisan, whimsical, and delicious. We’ve teamed up with the wonderful team at My Fathers Heart up the road from us in Bent's Green—the incredible bespoke kitchen designers—to host an exclusive Midsummer Chocolate Workshop in their stunning showroom.

We wanted to invite you to join us for a relaxed, sensory-led evening to celebrate the Summer Solstice.

What to expect:
We’ll kick things off with a glass of fizz (or a non alcoholic alternative) and a guided chocolate tasting, exploring everything from deep, single-origin bitters to sweeter varieties. After a short break to mingle in the beautiful showroom, we’ll move on to a hands-on experience: creating your own Midsummer Chocolate Bark. We’ll be using natural, vibrant ingredients like raspberry, matcha, and edible flowers to create something that looks as beautiful as it tastes—and you’ll get to take your creations home with you!

120 Mini-Makers and a whole lot of magic! 🦋 🌺 🍫
WOWEE! Our ‘Great Outdoors’ May Half Term has been a whirlwind of shimmering dew drops, muddy & pretty lollies, and our signature garden party chocolate bark.
I’ve been so busy making sure every one of our (over 100 (!) students had the perfect experience in our little chocolate factory that I barely had a moment to pick up my camera! (Absolute ‘sad face’ moment!) 📸
I’ve shared a few of my snaps here, but I know there are so many more magical moments captured by you.
Parents—if you have any photos or videos of your little ones in their pink aprons or showing off their chocolate masterpieces, I would LOVE to see them!

I’ve been waiting 20 years to transform this forgotten concrete space, and today, it finally happened. We’ve added some fresh greenery, cushions, and (very soon!) some festoon lighting to make it the perfect spot to catch a moment of calm.
We’re so happy to finally share our little ‘Wonderland’ with you all. Pop down, grab a treat, and come enjoy the new space with us!

I’ll never forget my worst day at the shop— I took exactly £7.15 💔 22 years on Ecclesall Road hasn’t always been easy, but that heartbreak is actually why our Sweet School was born.

I wanted to turn the shop into a “Little Chocolate Factory” for the community, but keep it cosy and calm (just 3 makers at a time!).
