This iPad came in through our mail-in service for a charging issue repair.
When we opened it up, this is what we were greeted with 😅

The charging port had completely separated from the flex, so there was no chance of it charging properly.

The good news? We had the parts in stock, repaired it the same day and had it packed up and on its way back to the customer that afternoon 📦👌

What's everyone's thoughts on the iPhone Air? 👀
We've only seen one through the shop so far, and that was just for a screen protector.

I actually think it's a pretty cool concept. It's ridiculously thin and feels different to anything Apple has released for years.

My biggest issue is the price. For what it is, I just can't help feeling it's priced too close to the Pro models.
Have you got one, or do you know anyone who has?

A lot of people think viruses on Android always look obvious.

The reality is they're often disguised as apps like cleaners, battery savers, security scanners and phone optimisers.

The app promises to speed your phone up, remove junk files or improve battery life, but in reality it can fill your phone with adverts, collect data or make the device perform worse.

If your Android phone suddenly starts showing lots of pop-ups, notifications or strange behaviour, it's worth checking for apps you don't recognise or don't actually use 👀

This is what a heavily corroded charging port looks like on an iPad!

Unlike phones, iPads don't spend much time in pockets, so when we see corrosion like this it's usually a sign that moisture has found its way into the charging port at some point.

The result? Slow charging, intermittent charging or no charging at all.

A good reminder that water and electronics still aren't the best of friends 😅
