Sheffield’s Migration Matters Festival starts this Friday and we love it, it’s such a vital and important celebration of migration in the ‘City of Sanctuary’. A city even forged by migration ❤️ Last year Leah's Yard hosted a fashion show event with and .asker which was great to be a part of and I took my daughter to lots of exhibitions. Fuse ODG is headlining this year and there’s plenty of ticketed, and free, shows and exhibitions on, we highly recommend picking up a programme and heading to something ✅ We’ve a few in store at Hop Hideout if you’re after one or view online ➡️ link in comments below

Opening up a new week at Hop Hideout with a delicious Italian selection, including one of our fav wines from Griddu Verde 2022 💛

🍾 A majestic orange wine. Composed of Verdejo, and Grillo grape varieties. The Grillo is harvested in 3 different harvests and the Verdejo is harvested with a low sugar concentration. Using low-intervention and heritage farming methods, and fermented with indigenous yeasts. With maceration on the skins for 5-10 days and aged from 6 to 12 months in barrique and tonneau. Notes of white fruits, Marsala light notes and marmalade. This is a very special wine and has amassed a bit of a following. Especially worth hunting out different vintages and trying this stunner over different years to see the complexity and character change! We’ve just added it to the menu too.

We also started lion and cub spotting nearby before work thanks to Pride of Yorkshire🦁
