Can I ask for people's opinions please 🙏

Firstly, is one of the two designs more preferable over the other?

Also do you prefer the top row (1&2) or bottom row (3&4)

The top row is sanded smooth and then painted with Matt black, this does make the design "pop" more BUT it does also mean the coaster will no longer soak up the moisture from the bottom of the drinking container whereas the non coated slate will soak up the moisture protecting the table as it is intended for.

If anyone is interested in slate coasters I am offering them for £5 each or 4 for £15 🙂

No real structure for this weekend but making the most of little jobs 😀

Testing out picture engraving on slate ✅ Putting my touch mark on the back of all my coasters ✅
Preparing some small hanging pistons that will be carved at some point in the near future✅
Giving a horseshoe candle holder I make a few years back a freshen up✅

Feeling very productive with this super nice weather this weekend 👌

I believe these went into a Ford Es**rt MK2 to be mounted and used as cup holders 👌
