Pop the date in your diary folks and support this very worthwhile group.

Diary date for all you lovely supporters - Sunday 13th September! Our annual Produce Fair will take place from 10 till 3 at the Woolsthorpe Depot, behind the Duck, NG32 1NY.
BBQ, Homemade cakes, tea and coffee, bring-and-buy produce stall, and plenty of other craft and produce stalls, come along and enjoy the fun.
The Three Shires trip boat will be offering short trips from its usual mooring at Lock 18, book your tickets on site early to avoid disappointment (no on-line bookings).

Things are starting to take shape for Flintham Show 2026! 🌾

Yesterday’s site visit at Dovecote Farm, Tithby meant plenty of walking, talking, planning and deliberations ahead of the big day on Thursday, 24th September.

It’s certainly been a very dry summer and the ground is showing it, but plans are coming together nicely!

Come over to Crossing Cottage Greyhound Sanctuary and support the great work they do. Weather looks good on the longer range forecast - lots of chocolate to chose from including the fabulous chocolate greyhounds that help support the Sanctuary.

Our Fun Greyhound Show on Monday 31st August is approaching like a runaway train! We hope to see as many hounds participating as possible!

The show is being held at Crossing Cottage. No parking will be available at the kennels, or on Barrel Hill Lane. Please park legally, sensibly and with consideration for the village residents, either on the Old Great North Road, or elsewhere in the village.

Gates open at 10:00 and the show will start at 11:30.

We will have our usual fundraising stalls for the kennels, a raffle, BBQ & Refreshments, Cathy's Chocolates and Cakes and *hopefully* Lenton Lane Brewery will make an appearance so we can get our paws on their new beer!

How can you help us?

We are seeking sponsorship for each class. Available for just £50, you can dedicate the class to a much loved hound or family member, present the prizes and even judge (if you wish).

We would love donations of items for the raffle - if you have anything you would like to donate, please bring it with you on the day.

If you are free on the day and would like to volunteer to help everything run smoothly, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Come along to support us, and show everyone how amazing your hound is!
