Pondering Climate Change. This Delphinium is the earliest I've seen at Black Shed. Around 3 weeks ahead of last year, although our Polemonium is nowhere to be seen. Cornflowers, Lupins and Foxgloves are pretty much ready, Peonys are almost in bloom and the Tulips are over. Allium and Mignonette in abundance and Viburnum Opulus ripening speedily. I'm afraid that the timings I thought were perfect for my mid May weddings are now skewed and I must think again...

All those plants in the low tunnels are coming out this week. Hundreds of Tanacetum, Antirrhinum and Foxgloves are now populating the new growing area. It's quite dry though, and no rain due for a few days , so watering will be the biggest task ahead.
