Celebrating Zinnias ! So cheerful , so gorgeous , so long lasting and so easy ! I will definitely grow more next year (and successions Jacqueline !) , especially if our summers continue to be so sunny and warm ! 💛

I have loved them all , thank you Chiltern Seeds and Plants Of Distinction ; I think my favs have been 'Oaklahoma Salmon' , with doubles and singles in said colour , some brighter , some softer (pics 5-10) .

'Benary Giant Florist Salmon Rose' has been enormous ! I have had some bloom as 'Carmine Rose' too , which is fab. 'Cresto Peachy Rose' and 'Cresto Cream' (no pic) , also so pretty , and 'Portofino Peach' lovely and bright . I am going to add some softer neutrals for next year , the softer citrus mixes , and would love something like Floret's 'Linen' , gorgeous .

So there we go ... I would even go so far to say that I might even prefer Zinnias to Dahlias ! OMG , don't block me ! 🤗

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of cutting for lovely Bride Georgia . My stems were for her many Bud Vases that Georgia would then create herself. Georgia had requested pinks and whites with pops of brights. It was so lovely that Georgia and her Groom Matthew came to collect the stems and also had a quick tour of the Cutting Garden.

I wish Georgia and Matthew every happiness for their future together 💕 .

Flowers included Annual and Perennial Mallows and Scabious , Achilleas , Daucus , Gypsophila , Phlox , Snaps , Statice , Zinnias and even bobbles of Buddleia ! Foliage included Abelia , Escalonia and Jasmine.

Thank you to Every-One who has ordered or bought from Eldon's at Rudge Heath , my beautiful seasonal Bouquets this week.

As you can see from the pics , they are bright , cool or warm . The Flowers and Foliages are glorious and I am pleased that I grow a diversity of Plants , very much as if gathered from the Garden.

The Pollinators and all sorts of other Wildlife are enjoying them too , and I am thrilled to embrace them all !

Yesterday I had the pleasure of creating and delivering this beautiful 'Thank you' Bouquet.

My Customer had found me via the Flowers From the Farm website , which provides a map and details of local Flower Growers.

As I handed them to her , the lady receiving this lovely gift reacted with 'oh wow , those are stunning !' , which naturally made my day too.

All grown by me at Havenhills Farm , chemical-free and wildlife friendly .

Including Artemisia 'Valerie Finnis' , Ballota and Cotinus 'Golden Spirit' for foliage , white Achillea 'The Pearl' , Agastache 'Liquorice White' and perennial Scabious , then Geums , Grasses , Sanguisorba , lilac Scabious and Verbena bonariensis for height , airiness and bobbles , and for features and colour , annual Mallow , perennial Phlox 'Bright Eyes' and 'Laura' with Rudbeckia 'Prairie Sun shining bright ... all rounded-off with my gorgeous cream and pink Gladiolus nanus , Phew ! 🌸

It is so nice to see the Rubeckias making a show , many have over-wintered and come back early , including the Saharas in their many shades , and golden 'Prairie Sun' ☀ .

I have some other , perennial Rudbeckias just popping , which is exciting , hopefully I can use those soon too .

Havenhills Farm has had the sunshine and breeze today (as is often these days) , I am so grateful to have water available to keep the soil from becoming too parched ! I am using w**d leaves as mulch 😉 .

I have been able to gather and create the most beautiful Bouquets over the past few weeks , and as we head into July , that seems to be even more so ! The Flowers and Foliage are absolutely glorious , and in much abundance , I am excited to work with them every day .
