🚗⚡ Have you noticed more EV charging bays appearing? We certainly have.

Over the past few years, we've been carrying out more and more EV bay markings as electric vehicle charging infrastructure continues to expand.

It's another example of how our work changes alongside the needs of our customers and the roads, car parks and public spaces we use every day.

Not every road marking job starts with painting new lines.

Sometimes the first step is removing the old ones.

Here's one of our hydroblasting teams carrying out line removal at a busy port. Using ultra-high-pressure water, hydroblasting removes existing markings while helping to protect the surface underneath, leaving it ready for whatever comes next.

It's another part of the job that often goes unseen, but it's just as important. 💧🚛

What exactly is hydroblasting?

Before new road markings can be installed, the old ones often need to be removed first.

Hydroblasting uses ultra-high-pressure water to remove existing markings from the surface, leaving it clean and ready for remarking.

Unlike some removal methods, hydroblasting can effectively remove markings while minimising damage to the underlying surface, making it a popular choice for highways, industrial sites, distribution centres and car parks.

These photos show our H2-GO team carrying out line removal works at a busy logistics facility before the next phase of markings could begin.

The finished markings might get all the attention, but good preparation is what helps deliver a quality end result.
