People only really see the finished sculptures, not this part.The video in the comments shows how the scrap arrived, and the photos show the less glamorous side of it all. Dirty, rusty and covered in years of grime.
A good day's sorting done though. Now to see what can be made from it.

🦌 The Wise One 🦌

Inspired by a real roe deer skull and built entirely from reclaimed scrap metal.

This piece took just over a week to create, carefully selecting and shaping different pieces of steel until everything came together. My aim was to capture the character of the original skull while giving it a mechanical feel of its own.

Mounted on a reclaimed clutch plate, fully polished and lacquered to preserve the finish.

I still find it strange how a pile of discarded scrap can be transformed into something completely different. Every piece of metal in this sculpture had a previous life before becoming part of The Wise One.

Handmade scrap metal seahorse sculpture made entirely from reclaimed vehicle and industrial parts 🔥♻️
Built over 2 weeks using salvaged gears, chains, bearings, springs and off cuts, all shaped and welded by hand to create this one off piece 🛠️
Kept a mix of polished steel, raw textures and natural heat colours to give it that industrial ocean feel 🌊⚙️
