👽 XENOMORPH 👽

This one has taken a lot of time, welding and patience to put together. Pretty much everything on it started life as something completely different.

The base is made entirely from individual welds, built up. I wanted to create a rough, almost alien looking texture for it rather than just using a flat piece of plate. There's even the inside of a Dremel motor used as an antenna on the base.

The tail is made from chain, while the legs are built entirely from welded bolts, then shaved back and shaped to get the form I wanted.

The upper body is made up from spark plugs, springs and chains, with the arms built from dumbbell bars, screws and wall fixings.

And the head... that started life as a hammer. It was covered in weld, then ground and shaped until I could get the Xenomorph's head shape. The teeth are made from individual nails, cut and shaped one by one.
It's definitely one of those pieces where the closer you look, the more bits you find. ⚙️🔥

🎸 Mechanical Strat vol II ⚙️

This Strat is a little bit different from the others. I decided to add a bit of yellow this time just to bring a bit of colour into it, and I think it works really well.

The outline is made from twisted Harris fencing, then it’s been infilled with a selection of scrap metal and bits from the workshop. All welded together by hand and mounted on a base so it rotates, giving you a different view from every angle.

Just scrap metal turned into something a bit different ♻️

This one means a bit more to me.
All my pieces are special in their own way, but this one was especially special to make. There was a lot of feeling put into it and it just felt right as it came together.

Made from drill bits, chains, wire, screws, saw servo, spark plugs, gears, springs, washers, scrap cut offs, a wheel hub and sockets.
And obviously... a lot of welding and a lot of time! 😂

Just a load of old bits of metal that would have probably ended up in the scrap bin, turned into something completely different.
