Saturday Boy's gushy birthday post (definitely not a fu***ng reel). Get ur sick bags out.
If the creatives we work with are the lifeblood of Neighbourhood Store, Emma is its beating heart.
And it beats fast, non-stop, all day, every day.
Her creativity, care, passion, humour and all round fu***ng awesomeness have shaped this colourful little corner of Shoreham from the very beginning, and NS simply wouldn't be the same without her. In fact, it is her. It is a reflection of who she is. The colour, the creativity, the inclusiveness, the kindness, joy and wonkiness Her emulsion paint fingerprints are all over it.
Never afraid to try something new, to move the entire shop around overnight, get the hammer out, get the drill out, bodge it together (professionally) and make it work, she's not content until it's just right. She gets s**t done.
A massive heartfelt thanks to Jane and Sarah for taking care of the shop while Em has had well deserved birthday week off. We couldn't do it without you!
And for me, for more than 30 of her 50 years, she's the one who's made my heart race. I still fancy her like like I did when I was a teenager. She is without doubt the greatest adult human I have ever met. So smart, so funny, so kind, so thoughtful, so hot. I fu***ng adore her.
