Here's the third and final cross stitch kit launching tomorrow - and I love this one so much. I've not finished my test stitch of it yet so this is the mock-up image, though rest assured the test stitch will be completed tomorrow before orders start dispatching on Saturday to make sure there are no issues. And don't worry if you're a sewist, not a sewer, the pattern will come with instructions for changing the text - as well as an alternative without any thread on the spool, as I personally liked the design better that way so you can see this stitchy dinosaur's full smile.

We launched 'creased cuts' a few days ago and they're selling well so far - if you're wondering just how creased they are, here's a typical example. Some pieces may be more creased than this and some may be barely creased at all - these fabrics were badly rolled on to their bolts so the creases are spread out at the points where they got caught and folded during rolling. Ultimately they're generally not that bad and will definitely come out after washing and/or ironing, but I would hate to sell something that I know will come to you creased at full price.

Did you guess that it was cross stitch kits I was teasing in my story the other day?

I'm a very keen cross stitcher and have designed and sold a few patterns and kits before, so I thought I'd try bringing some cross stitch to Dino Fabrics UK. Technically aida is fabric, so it still counts!
I'll be launching three kits, and this is the first one I'm previewing here. This kit will come with enough thread, aida, and hoops to make two glow in the dark dino skulls, this one and a triceratops. This kit uses mostly whole stitches and backstitch with a few fractional stitches around the outside of the skull, which makes it suitable for a confident beginner or a quick and easy project for a more advanced stitcher.

Long time, no speak. Let's talk about these two new categories on the website...

All Christmas fabrics are now in the sale, but more importantly - at least if you're a mystery bag addict like me - I now have a mystery fabric bundle available! You won't know what fabrics you're getting, but I can promise you will save money compared to buying the fabrics full price AND you'll get a bonus item as well - which might even include some bits that aren't even on the website for some buyers. This is something I'm trialling to see if there's interest so quantities are limited for now but if it goes down well I may do more of these soon.

As long-time followers will know, I had some financial issues late last year with unexpected and delayed import bills, so I'm still not at a point where I can afford more stock, but I'm hoping to get some new fabrics in later in 2022 - watch this space.

1.5 metres of our dinosaur cotton poplin made these 2-3 year dungarees for a dinosaur-loving little girl who lives on my street. Standard disclaimer that I'm not the best sewer which is why I sell fabric and not finished items! But I think this fabric is adorable for these. This poplin is available at £4 per half metre with several metres still in stock in this colour and a little bit still in stock on grey.

If you've seen my stories today, you'll know I have some bills to pay, so there's a sale coming! Absolutely everything will be discounted by AT LEAST 10% so get yourself some bargains. I've taken the shop offline while I set up the sale prices so you'll get an error message if you try to have a look now, but it's coming back with discounted prices at 8:30pm today.
