A great example of how 3D printing can solve everyday problems. 🚜🛠️
I recently designed and produced a replacement hydraulic spool dust cover for a Case IH Puma 175, although it may also fit other models. While it’s not a major mechanical component, it still plays an important role in helping prevent dust and debris from getting into the hydraulic spool assembly.
The original part couldn’t be purchased individually and would normally require buying a much larger assembly at a significantly higher cost. Using 3D printing, I was able to create a practical replacement quickly and cost effectively.
This is one of the many benefits of 3D printing:
✅ Custom replacement parts
✅ Fast turnaround times
✅ Cost effective solutions
✅ Small batch manufacturing
✅ Keeping equipment working longer
At Salop 3D, I enjoy finding practical solutions for parts that are difficult, expensive, or impossible to source.
