This Christmas will be our last at Workshop.

Whilst my heart feels heavy to make this announcement, it’s not the end, merely the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us. Our lease is up in March 2022, but we probably won’t be re-opening as a bricks and mortar shop beyond 2021. Moving forward we’ll be focussing our full attention on the growth of , our original jewellery brand.

Truthfully, it’s for very practical reasons. Our shop is not built for me and my young family. The building no longer suits our needs, we’ve simply outgrown it and I have the opportunity to create a bespoke, larger workshop closer to home, where we can have floor to ceiling shelves for storage, rolling rural views, a full candle making station and (the best bit) a log burner for those long winter months.

Having a shop was a childhood dream of mine, and I will always look back fondly at our time at Fish Street. I love the community we were welcomed into, and have made life-long friends as a result. And who knows, maybe at the right time, in the right location, we’ll be back, but for now we’re tapping out.

Sarah and I won’t say goodbye just yet, as we’ll be around a while longer, but should you have any questions please send me a message and I’ll do my best to help.

Finally had a re-stock of throws! Last time they flew out so we’ve ordered plenty this time. Made from recycled cotton, and suitable for machine washing - making them ideal for cosy nights in the garden. £22.50 available in store or on the website 👍🏻

Open every day this week 11-3pm (minimum, probably a smidge later/earlier if you’re about) 🕰

We’re pretty much all out of candles, but had a fresh delivery or hanging pots and mugs at the weekend, lots of beautiful organic bath essence/salts/hand cream/soaps/incense still in stock and as much jewellery and accessories as we can fit on the table. 👍🏻

We’ll be closed from Christmas until 4th of Jan when we’ll continue with opening hours of Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat 11-3pm (lockdowns permitting! 🤞🏼)

Important dates and opening hours over Christmas and New Year.

👋🏼 P L E A S E R E A D

As the final date for Christmas delivery has now passed, I just wanted to update you on our plans for the next few weeks.

🗓 We’ll be posting online orders until 22nd Dec - we won’t promise they’ll reach you in time, but if you’re willing to take the risk, go ahead.

🛍 The shop will be open 11-3pm (possibly longer hours, but at least those times) 18th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th December.

🚫 We will be closed for online orders from 22nd Dec - 4th Jan, the shop will also be closed from Christmas Day till 4th Jan.

🤰🏻I will be on maternity leave from 23rd Dec. The very capable and lovely Sarah (who lots of you that come in store will already know) will be covering the shop and sending online orders during this time. I’ll still be on emails for the time being but understandably may be a little delayed in replying. Please bare with us whilst we adapt.
