New to Farmer Joe’s Fruit & Veg this week is CackleBean premium eggs from The Cotswolds. 🥚

These premium free-range eggs come from small flocks kept in traditional chicken houses with full access to fresh pastures on the family-run Cackleberry Farm, Gloucestershire.

Praised for their thick whites and deep golden yolks these eggs are a particular favourite among chefs on TV cooking shows.

So now you can get them here at Shrewsbury Market Hall.

Tiny tins. Big imagination! DON’T MISS this unique exhibition taking place at Shrewsbury Market Hall, from Tuesday 18th - Saturday 29th August 🎨🐟

More than 100 miniature masterpieces are about to take over The Viewing Deck on the top floor — every single one created inside a sardine tin!

The Town in a Tin Exhibition has been organised as part of the Shrewsbury Arts Trail by The Makery Shropshire , bringing together artists and creatives from across Shropshire, each responding to the challenge in their own wonderfully inventive way.

Expect tiny textiles, ceramics, metalwork, collage, illustration, photography and even poetry — all celebrating the people, places, stories and landmarks that make Shrewsbury special.

And the best bit is that all these tiny works will be available to buy, with proceeds helping raise funds for the Perches House Restoration Appeal.

🏘️ Town In A Tin
🗓️ 18–29 August
📍 The Viewing Deck, Shrewsbury Market Hall
🕙 Open 10am–4pm on Market Days, Tuesday–Saturday

You’ll be amazed just how much can be packed into a sardine tin. 👀

View this unique exhibition and help to save one of Shrewsbury’s oldest buildings.

It’s the last day in the market for Will and The Flower Stand Shrewsbury. Wish him well before he embarks on the next stage of his career expanding onto the high street. 💐

As you know, Will is taking on the brand and shop premises of Botanique which also began in Shrewsbury Market Hall and went on to become one of the most iconic independent retail brands in Shrewsbury.

Will will continue and expand on the brilliant work of Botanique’s founder boutique florist Lisa Peel who has retired from the business.

We wish Will and Lisa all the very best in the next chapter of their lives.

Will plans to re-open the doors of Botanique, on Wyle Cop, next Saturday.

When Minimise Shrewsbury was struggling to source a local supplier of Shrewsbury Biscuits they resolved to make their own instead.

Good on them, keeping alive a long tradition of Shrewsbury Biscuits which was gradually disappearing.

Tourists and locals alike love to get their hands on Shrewsbury Biscuits.

They are crisp, buttery, delicate and traditionally flavoured with lemon zest. Recipes are documented back to 1658, however, Shrewsbury Biscuits have probably been around since the 1500s.

Go and find your pack at Minimise, in Shrewsbury Market Hall, this Saturday.
